This fully interactive environmental science show is designed specifically for K-2. It aims to forge a healthier relationship with the smallest creatures on earth – ARTHROPODS – INSECTS
An introduction to Entomology:
- 60 insects from around the world in resin
- 60 magnifying glasses of various sizes
- 4 digital microscopes and laptops
- 4 traditional microscopes
- Full metamorphic puppet show set to music
A fully interactive experience as this incursion creates a safe space for young students to examine insects at a close range without anxiety. The program combines touch, sight, digital technology, a natural soundscape and puppetry set to music as the finale. This program provides an introduction towards understanding the function of insects and the eco-system in which they thrive.
